The Golden Chariot - Pride of The South train will travel through Historical Heritage Sites, magnificent Palaces, beautiful Wildlife and Golden Beaches. Some of the well-known tourist attractions of the Pride of the South itinerary are Sravanabelagola, Mysore Palace, the ruins of Hampi, and of course the immaculate beaches of Goa. Navigate through the lush green landscape with an astounding wealth of wildlife or simply indulge in luxury that will make you feel like royalty.

Each Coach of the "The Golden Chariot - Pride of The South” has been named after the empires that ruled Karnataka - Kadamba, Hoysala, Rastrakota, Ganga, Chalukya, Bhahamani, Adhilshahi, Sangama, Shathavashna, Yudukula and Vijayanagar.

Every suite has been painstakingly crafted allowing you to relive the bygone era of the royal luxury, with all the amenities that make for fine living. Discover this diverse world of Karnataka.

All cabins on board the Golden Chariot are air-conditioned. There are 26 twin beds, 17 double bed cabins and 1 cabin for the physically challenged. Each cabin has a vanity / writing desk,  Wi-Fi, LCD television, DVD with 6 satellite channels, cupboard, and private bathroom with lavish amenities and accessories. Coze up into a bed of royalty, significant of the Mysore Maharajas, marvel at the elaborate carvings on the ceiling, the wall panels and furniture inspired by Mysore and Hoysala architecture.

The interiors of the two Dining Cars (called Nala & Ruchi) are inspired by the royal beauty of Hampi & Halebid temples. There is a wide assortment of vegetarian and non-vegetarian culinary delights at your disposal. The restaurants have 4-seater and 2-seater tables with cosy sofas and chairs. The rich & imperial interiors of the Cigar Bar Lounge (called Madira) are modelled after the early 20th century Mysore Palace.

In addition, the train has 2 massage rooms, a fully equipped Gymnasium and a conference room with a Seating capacity of 25-30 guests.
